A Quinta da Lage is a regenerative eco-farm located in the coastal natural park in South Western Alentejo, Portugal. Our project focuses on restoring the land using various regenerative agriculture methods, such as water catchments and keyline design, holistic grazing with animals, agroforestry, soil restoration, and no-till gardening.
We aim to inspire future farmers and anyone interested in nature and sustainable food production by spreading knowledge through our workshops and courses. Our holistic vision is to create a regenerative landscape in a way that benefits all life. We strive to be a place of learning where participants find purpose, leading to meaningful actions and personal growth.
A Quinta aims to create hope for future generations by demonstrating practical possibilities for reversing soil erosion, implementing land restoration, eco-construction, passion-based learning, local food security, and more. This project goes beyond being a regenerative farm; it is also a community for those who want to be part of practical solutions, embrace an alternative lifestyle, and create a welcoming environment for our inner nature.
